There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. It can be overwhelming to decide.
It’s for this reason that, the moment you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You just may find yourself starting from scratch again.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and drinks that one eating plan allows, and perhaps even encourages, another, seemingly equally legitimate diet plan is likely to limit or completely forbid. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s tell the truth. Recipe videos can oftentimes be completely will-shattering. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This, of course, is common-sense weight loss. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
